Congregation Melech Yisrael – קהילת מלך ישראל is part of the body of Messiah, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine furnishings for the fulfillment of the “Great Commission.”
Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the “body of believers,” which are written in heaven (Efesim / Ephesians 1:22,23: 2:22; Ivrim / Hebrews 12:23).
Since G-d’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, the priority reason-for-being of Congregation Melech Yisrael as part of the universal “body of believers” is:
We as a congregation believing in Yeshua, the Messiah of the Jewish people the House of Israel, and the soon coming King, have as a foremost purpose the salvation of the Jewish people in our community and throughout the world.
We therefore, wish to conduct our services in a manner in which non-believing Jewish people who attend these services will feel at home and will ultimately find their Savior and Messiah Yeshua.
We desire to instruct believers both Jewish and non-Jewish in the word of G-d and in the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. We purpose to accomplish this through the practicing and teaching of Biblical Jewish traditions and relating them to the cultural and historical context of the New Covenant.
We look to foster the spiritual growth of those Jewish and non-Jewish people who have already asked Messiah Yeshua into their lives and have joined with our congregation, through Bible study and educational programs.
We purpose to raise up our children in the way they should go by providing a Messianic Jewish day school, where Messianic Jewish children may understand their Jewish heritage and non-Jewish children may see themselves as the spiritual seed of Abraham, grafted in and connected to true Israel. (Romans 11:24).
We seek to provide Messianic fellowship for those of like precious faith, where the Holy Spirit may be honoured according to our distinctive testimony.
We assume our share of responsibility and the privilege of propagating the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah by all available means, to all peoples, both at home and in foreign lands.
